Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.

WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
The earlier the better. I suggest following guidelines depending on the number of the servings (cake size): at least 4 months prior the event date for cakes with 100+ servings, three months for cakes with 50-100 servings and 2 months for the cakes under 50 servings. For a cake on shorter notice, please call to discuss your options, I do my best to accommodate last-minute orders but I cannot guarantee availability as sometimes I am fully booked.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
To place an order please Call or fill out the Contact form and we will schedule an appointment for the first consultation.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED WHEN PLACING AN ORDER?
50% of the total cost is required as a deposit to secure the date.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY MY BALANCE?
The order must be paid in full 28 days before the event date for the cakes 30+
servings, and 14 days before the event date for the cakes 30 servings or less.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY CAKE AFTER I ORDER?
You can make changes up to 30 days before the event date.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Delivery is mandatory for the cakes over 5'' high and starts at $15. Delivery and handling fee is based on mileage and number of tiers. This will be made known to you during our consultation.
DO YOU SHIP?
Unfortunately, cakes are too fragile to be shipped.
HOW DO YOU PRICE THE CAKE?
Prices are based on type of cake, filling, frosting, complexity of design, structure and toppers. Starting price is $3.75 per serving and does not include price for design, hardware, delivery and set up fee.
HOW MANY CAKE ORDERS DO YOU TAKE PER WEEK?
To ensure your cake order has as much of personal attention as possible I take orders for only 250 servings per week. It could be one wedding cake for 250 guests or 2-3 smaller ones.
ARE YOUR CAKE DECORATIONS EDIBLE?
All cake decorations are edible, except for some elements used for structural support (wooden dowels and rods, floral wire, etc). Materials used for non-edible elements (wired flower stems, structural support) meet the standards of food safety.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
The 50% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have paid any amount over the 50% deposit and cancel more than 28 days before the event, you will get a partial refund. Any cake orders cancelled less than 28 days prior the event date will receive NO refunds on any payments made after the deposit.
DO YOU MAKE GLUTEN FREE OR VEGAN CAKES?
At this time I do not use gluten free flours, or butter/egg alternatives in any of my cakes.
